Proposals for TSU units for outdoor units
Common-frame vibration isolation units: TSUs make devices earthquake resistant and reduce installation times

Features of TSU units
TSU units boost earthquake resistance. A preliminary meeting is required because on-site conditions affect the installation of vibration-isolating material.
- Better vibration isolation than standard vibration isolation frames. Vibration isolation performance (approx. 4Hz-6Hz)
- Ease of installation is another great feature: isolate all vibrations simply by mounting devices to a common frame.
- The 2.0G of horizontal resistance (1.0G of vertical resistance) provided by vibration-isolating material alone provides excellent earthquake resistance.

Movement in an earthquake
Overall vibration isolation with a multi vibration-isolating unit
The frame and the equipment are fixed with bolts when using a TSU unit. It is therefore difficult to imagine – even if the entire frame shakes – pieces of equipment coming into contact with each other, unless the legs of the equipment are damaged.

Individual vibration isolation with a standard vibration-isolating frame
Standard vibration-isolating frames have varying natural frequency, therefore the movement of equipment will vary. As a result, pieces of equipment may come into contact with each other if the space between the equipment is narrow.

Improved ease of installation
- The weight of the TSU main body is approx. 8kg, and is lightweight and compact in comparison to a standard vibration-isolating frame weighing approx. 20kg, thus achieving improved ease of installation.
- The equipment is loaded directly onto the common frame, enabling reduction in the time taken for the adjustment of the standard vibration-isolating frame.
